Your Journey to Getting Your Natural Body Shape Back
NEEDS be Pain/Discomfort and Frustration Free
The most important requirements for losing weight is commitment and patience.
You have to really want to succeed, before you will gain any significant success.
And you have to understand that REAL and permanent weight loss cannot be rushed.
I'm sorry to say 'losing 20lbs in 30 days' – or whatever, is NOT real weight loss. It is a temporary state, and it will inevitably reverse. And you will likely regain 20lbs (or more) in less than 30 days...
UNLESS this temporary weight loss is also accompanied by a complete mindset and
life-style change.
Everyone in the world is an individual, with individual personal circumstances, health issues and mindset. Some people can overcome all manner of challenges and obstacles using will-power alone. I am such a person myself. However, others in different situations do not have the ability, or can afford to solely rely on will-power alone to get them through a particular challenge.
For example; important social events, holidays, illnesses, family commitments and pain can cause the derailment of even the most concerted efforts to lose weight.
The solution to any of these challenges that may come along is... to find your OWN way through them, without them causing you to give up on your goals entirely.
By far the biggest barrier to successful weight loss is caused by discomfort, or pain - and frustration (lack of patience.)
In YOUR SHAPE BACK I talked about pain-free exercising being far more effective in the long run, than the short-term gains created by painful execessive muscle and cell straining.
As I have said before – there is NOT a one-fit-all regime that everyone can follow to lose weight.
Realise 'life' still happens in all circumstances. And temporary detours may be required on your journey to getting Your Shape Back.

Simply accepting this will save countless future feelings of frustration and guilt. With three steps forward and one step back (occasionally) you are still making progress. The 'secret' is to ensure you do not take one step forwards - and then three back!

In other words face all barriers you may come across that get in the way of your body reshaping journey with guilt-free acceptance - NOT stress and frustration! But, also with a determination to get back on the right path as soon as possible.

Of course, some discomfort and pain is necessary to experience, and get through, when making worthwhile and dramatic changes in your life-style and eating habits. This is caused by detoxification.
Your body cells are expelling toxins and years of accumulated rubbish in your body - and you will feel the brunt of this. Also, you are likely to be using some of your muscles again after years of them being mainly dormant. IF the pain becomes too uncomfortable in these circumstances, listen to your body and let it tell you what it needs in the way of relief. However, always try to avoid pharmaceutical, chemical remedies.
Rest and plenty of sleep are get healers of the minor pains and discomforts you will inevitably have to face. I am a great believer (as you will know from reading YOUR SHAPE BACK) that energetic vibrations - high enegery frequencies have the power to alter the stae of your being.
Try searching on Youtube for 'healing frequencies' - find a couple that you resonate with (a sure sign they will be effective for you) and listen to them (best through headphones) as you fall asleep. If you can completely emerse yourself in the sound while breathing deeply and with 'purpose' - to calm your mind, you will find they will provide significant relief from even constant pains.

Too Much Pain and Discomfort Will Derail Even
The Best Fat Loss Plan
When exercising you should be aiming for a satisfying 'tingling'' as the outcome of a routine or workout - rather then pain or aches. So, alter what you're doing accordingly to achieve this.
When changing your diet you should be aiming for feelings of mild nausea, rather than sickness and lethargy. So, again, alter what you're doing accordingly. If your detox symptoms become too acute, ease off a little, eat a little of whatever you need to feel better. Then try again, when the symptoms pass.
Taking one step at a time is the way to avoid most pain and frustration. Please do not attempt to take short-cuts on your journey to weight loss, without the full knowledge of all the potential hazards of doing so.
Refer back to the Your Shape Back book and keep to as many of the steps suggested as you can.
While talking about pain here, it has to be said that once it strikes – and becomes debilitating, or even just a nagging nuisance, most people, me among them, will do or take anything to make it stop. Anything to get some relief. This 'anything' usually entails a trip to the pharmacy or doctor to get some fast-acting (chemical) pain-killers.
Virtually all pain is the result of inflammation in and around the area that is manifesting the pain. Synthetic chemicals, drugs are (very) efficient at easing and dissipating inflammation and reducing the pain, or even stopping it completely –( temporarily) but at a high long-term price. Not only to your future health, but also to your future weight gain. Remember all synthetic chemicals ultimately cause the build up of fat.
What's The Best Way to Combat Pain?
Of course, the pain-killing drugs are simply disguising the 'symptoms' of the pain – this is all they have been specifically designed to do. They do NOT treat the causes of the pain. No one gets a headache, for example, due to a lack of aspirin.
The thing is – sometimes, or even often (certainly in my case) taking chemical drugs as a short-term solution to pain can also lead to the longer-term reduction in the pain. This is because without the tension created by pain, the body becomes more relaxed and is able to address the causes of pain and to effect a NATURAL healing process itself. That is IF your body and autoimmune system is in good order. Otherwise the synthetic chemical relief becomes addictive... and seriously harmful.
If the pain is persistent and the temporary relief from drugs remains temporary, and you have to keep on taking drugs - then there is a more serious situation that needs to be investigated.
I would suggest a Doctor (most Doctors anyway) is one of the last people you should go to for the treatment of pain. Go see a Doctor, or medical practitioner, for a 'diagnosis' (a guess, in most cases) of the cause of the pain perhaps – but then walk away. Medical doctors are trained to treat pain in only two ways – modern pharmaceutical chemicals or surgery!
Nutrition is, in fact, the BEST long-term solution to most pain – or, by tricking the mind (placebo effect) to cause the body to heal itself.
I personally believe that many – most, natural external pain treating, healing processes;
chiropractors, massages, acupuncture, stretches, physio-therapy, and so on, are
mostly 'placebo' effects. They fool the mind into thinking the body is being healed, by these interventions but then the mind takes over and causes the body to do most of its own healing itself.
Of course, there is far more to it than what I have just described – involving spirit and meridian and energy lines, and so on.
But when it all comes down to it - the body is just a complex collection of energetic frequencies. So, in actual fact 'physical' healing is just a concept of perception.

A bone can be fixed, a heart-valve can be replaced, faulty parts, gall-bladder, appendix etc. can be removed, and other emergency procedures can be carried out, as 'physical' manifestations of healing. However, it is then cell's energies that adapt and adjust to the new circumstances in the body, to effect its own healing process.
WHAT CAUSES PAIN?
Virtually all pain that the body feels is caused by inflammation - I'm not going to go into a lngthy explaination of infammation here - but suffice to say... inflammation is a natural response of the body’s immune system to injury or infection. It is a vital process that helps protect the body and promote healing. However, chronic inflammation can lead to pain and stress in the body, often resulting in a cycle of discomfort and health issues. Understanding what triggers inflammation and how to manage it naturally is essential for maintaining overall well-being.
Several factors can trigger inflammation in the body. Poor diet is a significant contributor, particularly the consumption of refined sugars, processed foods, and unhealthy fats. These foods can cause an imbalance in the body and lead to inflammatory responses. Additionally, stress is a common trigger for inflammation. When the body is under stress, it releases hormones like cortisol, which can promote inflammation if elevated for prolonged periods.
Lack of physical activity is another factor that can lead to inflammation.
Regular exercise helps regulate the body’s inflammatory responses and promotes overall health. Conversely, a sedentary lifestyle can cause the body to become stiff and inflamed. Environmental factors such as pollution, smoking, and exposure to toxins can also contribute to inflammation.
Fortunately, there are several natural remedies that can help reduce inflammation and alleviate pain in the body. One effective approach is adopting an anti-inflammatory diet. If you are reading - anf following YOUR SHAPE BACK the very same dietary suggestions for reshaping your body apply exactly for reducing or erradicating pain.
Herbs and spices like turmeric, ginger, and garlic have potent anti-inflammatory properties. Incorporating these into meals can help decrease inflammation naturally. Turmeric contains curcumin, a compound known for its powerful anti-inflammatory effects. Ginger also helps reduce inflammation and can be consumed as a tea or added to dishes for flavor.
Regular physical activity is crucial for managing inflammation.
Engaging in exercises such as yoga, swimming, or walking can help keep the body flexible and reduce stress levels. Exercise also promotes the release of endorphins, which are natural pain relievers.
Stress management techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises, and mindfulness can significantly reduce stress-induced inflammation. These practices help calm the mind and body, reducing the production of stress hormones that contribute to inflammation.
Adequate sleep is another essential factor in managing inflammation.
Sleep allows the body to repair and rejuvenate itself. Lack of sleep can exacerbate inflammation and lead to increased pain and stress. Ensuring a consistent sleep schedule and creating a restful environment can improve sleep quality.
AS you will realise EVERYTHING that you do to improve your body shape - WILL also improve your body's fight against inflammation and pain...
